A GREAT LOVER OF BOOKS

A voracious reader, Brian has a collection of 1400+ books. With a keen interest in a broad range of historical topics, sport in particular, it wasn’t until 2010 that he decided to write his first book — The Honours Board — in celebration of the New Plymouth Old Boys’ cricket club centennial.

“I particularly enjoy finding and bringing to light the ‘hidden’ stories of those people who were previously unknown for their contribution or involvement in events”
